| In the
early stages of planning is a mission trip to St. Louis, Missouri for
March, 2005 for the purpose of renovating the Wesley House Basement. The Wesley
House hosts summer day camps for the inner city children in that area, and provides
a safe environment for recreation and fun. |
| By lending
our backs to this task, we will display the love and grace of Jesus Christ to
those who make use of these facilities as well as to the community at large. |
| There
is an age requirement of 16 years for this trip, and no one is too old to join
us. This project is still in the development stages, and the site will
be updated weekly with any progress that has been made. Below you will
find all of the information we have so far. Be sure to check back regularly
for updated information. |
| A number
of us visited the Wesley House on a mission trip in July 2004, with the help
of 3 home churches, and "Youth Works". We all converged
at the site in St. Louis and separated ourselves into seven groups, each going
to help out a different location around the 5th district of St. Louis.
Here are a number of testimonies from the people who joined us at the Wesley
house in July. |
